Here’s what I think happened at GM.
It’s May 23 and GM’s top man is sitting in his office in Detroit’s Renaissance Centre worrying about the nasty questions he might get asked at next month’s Annual General meeting when he gets a call from his Asia Pacific heavy.
“Boss, you won’t believe it, Ford are shutting down in Australia.”
“Tim, I’ve always said that Hitler is a hopeless leader, it’s no wonder Ford are in trouble there.”
