Yes it was historic when Audi’s number 1 car the Audi R18 e-tron quattro crossed the line at 3pm just so Audi could take their 11th victory Le Mans. It was historic because it was the first time a hybrid-powered car has won and it was boring because Audi took all three places on the podium.

Thank god for the Rebellion Racing Lola Toyota Jani,Prost and Nick Heidfeld steering. They came in fourth with another Audi fifth and Australia’s David Brabham steering the JRM Motorsport HPD ARX-03a.

Anthony Davidson in the number 8 Toyota did a Weber after touching a slower car coming into the high-speed kink just before Mulsanne corner and after a few cartwheels climbed out with a broken back.

Ferrari took 1 and 2 in LMGTE pro but two amateurs in Corvette and an old Porsche came in after them and before any more pros. The new Porsches looked unreliable.
